1. Acceptance of Terms

By downloading, installing, or using the Poripurok application, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agree to be bound by these Terms and our Privacy Policy, which is incorporated herein by reference. If you are using the Platform on behalf of a minor, you represent that you have the legal authority to bind that individual to these Terms.

We reserve the right to update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Platform after any modification constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. We will make reasonable efforts to notify users of significant changes.

Poripurok অ্যাপ ডাউনলোড বা ব্যবহার করার মাধ্যমে আপনি এই শর্তাবলি মেনে নিচ্ছেন। শর্তাবলি পরিবর্তিত হলে আমরা জানানোর চেষ্টা করব।

2. Description of Service

Poripurok is an AI-powered academic assistance platform designed for students preparing for HSC examinations and university admission tests in Bangladesh. The Platform provides, among other features:

1. an AI assistant (“Poripurok AI”) that answers academic questions in Bengali;
2. MCQ practice and performance analysis tools;
3. past-year question bank access and guided solutions;
4. personalised study planning and exam-readiness tools;
5. smart note summarisation and flashcard generation; and
6. other educational features as may be added from time to time.

Certain features are available free of charge subject to usage limits. Full access to advanced features requires a paid subscription. Feature availability may vary and is subject to change without prior notice.

Poripurok একটি AI-চালিত পড়াশোনার সহায়ক অ্যাপ। কিছু ফিচার বিনামূল্যে এবং কিছু সাবস্ক্রিপশনের মাধ্যমে পাওয়া যায়।

3. User Eligibility

You must be at least 13 years of age to use the Platform. Users between the ages of 13 and 18 (“minors”) may use the Platform only with the consent and under the supervision of a parent or legal guardian. By using the Platform, you represent that you meet these eligibility requirements.

We reserve the right to terminate or restrict access to any account where we reasonably believe the user does not meet these requirements or where parental consent has not been obtained.

১৩ বছরের কম বয়সীরা এই প্ল্যাটফর্ম ব্যবহার করতে পারবে না। ১৩ থেকে ১৮ বছর বয়সীদের অভিভাবকের অনুমতি প্রয়োজন।

4. User Account and Security

To access certain features, you must register for an account by providing accurate and complete information. You are solely responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account.

You agree to notify us immediately at hello@poripurok.com if you suspect any unauthorised access to your account. Poripurok is not liable for any loss or damage resulting from your failure to maintain the security of your account.

You may not create accounts using automated means, create multiple accounts for abusive purposes, or share your account credentials with others.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on the Platform — including but not limited to software, source code, text, graphics, illustrations, logos, audio, video, and AI-generated responses — is the proprietary property of Poripurok or its content licensors and is protected under applicable intellectual property laws.

Subject to these Terms, we grant you a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable licence to access and use the Platform solely for your personal, non-commercial educational purposes. This licence does not include the right to:

1. reproduce, copy, or duplicate any content from the Platform;
2. sell, rent, sub-license, or commercially exploit any content;
3. redistribute, publish, or publicly display content without written permission; or
4. reverse-engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code of the application.

Poripurok-এর সমস্ত কনটেন্ট, সফটওয়্যার এবং ডিজাইন আমাদের মেধাস্বত্বের আওতাভুক্ত। ব্যক্তিগত পড়াশোনার বাইরে এগুলো ব্যবহার করা নিষিদ্ধ।

6. Prohibited Uses

You agree that you will not use the Platform to:

1. engage in any activity that violates applicable laws or regulations of Bangladesh;
2. upload, transmit, or share content that is offensive, defamatory, obscene, or harmful;
3. attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its underlying systems;
4. use any automated tool, bot, scraper, or crawler to access or collect data from the Platform;
5. impersonate any person or entity, or misrepresent your affiliation with any person;
6. use AI responses to engage in academic dishonesty, including submitting AI-generated work as your own in formal assessments where prohibited;
7. interfere with or disrupt the integrity or performance of the Platform; or
8. facilitate any third party in performing any of the above acts.

Violations of this section may result in immediate termination of your account without notice and, where appropriate, referral to law enforcement authorities.

প্ল্যাটফর্মের অপব্যবহার, অননুমোদিত প্রবেশ, বা বেআইনি কার্যকলাপের জন্য অ্যাকাউন্ট বাতিল করা হবে।

7. AI-Generated Content

The Platform uses artificial intelligence to generate academic explanations, summaries, practice questions, and study plans. You acknowledge and agree that:

1. AI-generated responses are provided for educational guidance only and are not guaranteed to be accurate, complete, or free from error;
2. you should independently verify critical information, especially in the context of formal examinations;
3. Poripurok is not liable for any academic loss, examination failure, or consequence arising from reliance on AI-generated content; and
4. your interactions with the AI may be stored and used to improve the service, as described in our Privacy Policy.

Poripurok AI, our AI assistant, is designed to support your learning — it does not replace qualified teachers, tutors, or official academic guidance.

পরিপূরক AI-এর উত্তর সবসময় সম্পূর্ণ নির্ভুল নাও হতে পারে। পরীক্ষার ক্ষেত্রে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ তথ্য যাচাই করুন। পরিপূরক AI শিক্ষকের বিকল্প নয়।

8. Subscription and Payments

Poripurok offers free and paid subscription tiers. Paid subscriptions are billed on a monthly basis. All payments are processed through bKash or other authorised payment gateways available in the Platform. By subscribing, you authorise us to charge your selected payment method.

Subscription fees are stated in Bangladeshi Taka (BDT) and are inclusive of applicable taxes where required by law. Prices are subject to change with at least 7 days’ advance notice to existing subscribers.

Subscriptions automatically renew at the end of each billing period unless cancelled before the renewal date. You may cancel your subscription at any time through the app settings. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the current billing period; you retain access to paid features until that date.

Refunds are governed separately by our Refund Policy.

সাবস্ক্রিপশন প্রতি মাসে bKash-এর মাধ্যমে পেমেন্ট হয় এবং স্বয়ংক্রিয়ভাবে নবায়ন হয়। যেকোনো সময় বাতিল করা যাবে।

9. Educational Disclaimer

The Platform is an educational supplement and is not intended to replace formal schooling, coaching centres, or qualified academic instruction. Poripurok does not guarantee any specific academic outcome, examination result, or university admission. Success in examinations depends on many factors beyond the scope of any study tool.

We strive to ensure that content is aligned with relevant curricula; however, syllabus changes, printing variations in textbooks, or regional differences may affect relevance. Users are advised to consult official sources and their institutions for authoritative academic guidance.

Poripurok পড়াশোনার একটি সহায়ক মাধ্যম। পরীক্ষায় ভালো ফলাফলের নিশ্চয়তা আমরা দিতে পারি না। সরকারি সিলেবাস ও শিক্ষকের নির্দেশনা সর্বদা অনুসরণ করুন।

10. Disclaimer of Warranties

THE PLATFORM IS PROVIDED ON AN “AS IS” AND “AS AVAILABLE” BASIS WITHOUT WARRANTIES OF ANY KIND, EITHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, INCLUDING BUT NOT LIMITED TO WARRANTIES OF MERCHANTABILITY, FITNESS FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE, OR NON-INFRINGEMENT.

We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free from viruses or other harmful components. We do not warrant the accuracy, completeness, or timeliness of any content available through the Platform.

আমরা প্ল্যাটফর্মের নিরবচ্ছিন্ন প্রাপ্যতা বা সমস্ত কনটেন্টের নির্ভুলতার নিশ্চয়তা দিতে পারি না।

11. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, Poripurok and its officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of data, loss of revenue, or academic or professional setback — arising from your use of or inability to use the Platform, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

In no event shall our total aggregate liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform exceed the total amount you paid to us in the three months immediately preceding the claim.

Poripurok-এর দায়বদ্ধতা সীমিত। প্ল্যাটফর্ম ব্যবহারের ফলে কোনো পরোক্ষ ক্ষতির জন্য আমরা দায়ী নই।

12. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Poripurok and its officers, directors, employees, and agents from and against any claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses — including reasonable legal fees — arising out of or in any way connected with your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

আপনার কারণে Poripurok কোনো আইনগত সমস্যায় পড়লে সেই ক্ষতিপূরণের দায়িত্ব আপনার।

13. Communications

By creating an account, you consent to receive service-related communications from us via the mobile number or email address you registered with. This includes account notifications, subscription updates, and service announcements.

Promotional communications are optional and may be opted out of at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at hello@poripurok.com.

অ্যাকাউন্ট তৈরি করলে আমরা আপনার ফোন নম্বর বা ইমেইলে সার্ভিস সংক্রান্ত বার্তা পাঠাতে পারব।

14. Termination

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account and access to the Platform at any time, with or without notice, for any violation of these Terms, suspected fraudulent or abusive conduct, or for any other reason we deem appropriate.

Upon termination, your right to access the Platform ceases immediately. Provisions of these Terms that by their nature should survive termination — including intellectual property, disclaimer, limitation of liability, and governing law — shall survive.

শর্তাবলি লঙ্ঘনে আমরা যেকোনো সময় অ্যাকাউন্ট বাতিল করতে পারব। বাতিলের পরেও কিছু শর্ত কার্যকর থাকবে।

15. Governing Law and Dispute Resolution

These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the People’s Republic of Bangladesh. Any dispute arising from or relating to these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be resolved as follows:

1. Informal resolution. Both parties agree to first attempt to resolve any dispute informally by contacting us at hello@poripurok.com. We will make a good-faith effort to resolve the matter within 14 days.
2. Mediation. If informal resolution fails, the parties shall submit the dispute to mediation before a mutually agreed mediator in Dhaka.
3. Arbitration. If mediation is unsuccessful, the dispute shall be resolved by binding arbitration conducted in Dhaka under the Arbitration Act, 2001 of Bangladesh.
4. Litigation. For matters not suitable for arbitration, the courts of competent jurisdiction in Dhaka, Bangladesh shall have exclusive jurisdiction.

এই শর্তাবলি বাংলাদেশের আইন অনুযায়ী পরিচালিত হবে। বিবাদ নিষ্পত্তিতে প্রথমে আলোচনা, তারপর মধ্যস্থতা, এবং প্রয়োজনে সালিশ বা ঢাকার আদালতে সমাধান করা হবে।
